Overview

Hailey Hotels is a chain of luxury hotels found in major cities in North America.

History

The first Hailey Hotel was opened in 1965 in New Orleans by property developer Gregory Hailey. The hotel had a reputation for luxury and attracted high profile guests including movie stars and politicans.

In 1983, Hailey entered into partnership with a financier on the West Coast and the second Hailey was opened in San Francisco. A third opened in Los Angeles in 1987, although the official opening party on Christmas Eve of that year almost ended in disaster when a daring robbery by a group of Anarchists was narrowly thwarted by Strikeforce.

By 2014 the chain owned multiple hotels all over the United States and Canada.
